ANA Wins President's Award For Inclusion

For its efforts to advance inclusion in the advertising and marketing industry the Association of National Advertisers received a World Federation of Advertisers Presidents Award at the WFA’s Global Marketer Week event in Istanbul.

The WFA noted that various ANA divisions and working groups – the ANA Educational Foundation (AEF), SeeHer, the Alliance for Inclusive and Multicultural Marketing (AIMM) and ANA Engage Responsibly – came together to provide new tools and resources in support of the common goal to enhance inclusion.

Each ANA group caters to different audiences but together they boost the overall DEI strategy of making the marketing and advertising industry more diverse and inclusive, the WFA stated.

Union des marques, France was recognized for its “Start-up Your Brand” initiative, designed to help advertisers source innovative new solutions and help start-ups pitch themselves and gain visibility.

ANFO Norway was recognized for awards programs designed to celebrate and improve best practices in marketing and advertising excellence.

And ISBA UK was lauded for a $20 million-plus cross-media measurement initiative called Origin. It’s an effort to create an industry-owned entity that provides the media sector with a new and independent multi-channel cross-media measurement system.
