OKX Decides To 'Rewrite' The Crypto World

OKX is hoping to change the crypto world.

Part of its mission is explained in a new global brand campaign — "The System Needs a Rewrite" — which details its Web3 vision and products, while putting power in the hands of people, not corporations.

BBDO is responsible for the creative, which is running on digital and social with OLV, paid social and out-of-home in select markets.

The company's inventory includes an OKX Wallet, a powerful crypto wallet that gives usersaccess to 50+ blockchains while taking charge of their own funds.

In addition, OKX's new MPC technology gives users the ability to recover access to wallets independently without any seed phrases. The DEX, a cross-chain decentralized exchange, aggregates almost 200 other DEXs, with 200,000+ coins on more than 10 blockchains available. The company's multi-chain, no-fee NFT Marketplace lets users access listings across seven marketplaces, including, OpenSea, MagicEden, LooksRare and Blur.

Finally, Web3Earn, its DeFi platform, supports earning and staking on 80 protocols across nine chains.

Haider Rafique, CMO of OKX, told Agency Daily: "There are two camps of thoughts. One side suggests we update existing systems to create a better world. The other believes we need a system rewrite. Our new campaign is a nod to those who believe we need to rewrite the system into Web3.

"We envision a world where we all have more control, mobility and various ways to trade our assets. A world where software allows us to be our own bank, to be interoperable and to trade without any intermediaries. We are here to contribute to building this future. This campaign is the preamble to the first-of-its-kind Web3 products we'll release this year," he adds.
