Apple Set To Unveil New iPhone, Watches, iOS Next Month

Apple has officially scheduled the announcement of its new iPhone 15 models, the Apple Watch Series 9, and iOS versions for September 12 at a press event held at its Apple Park headquarters in Cupertino, California, according to invitations the company sent out on Tuesday.

The new iPhone models are expected to feature a USB-C charging port, in response to the European Union’s recent legislation requiring all mobile phones, tablets and cameras sold in the EU to include USB-C charging capabilities, giving companies until December 28, 2024 to comply.

According to recent reports, the iPhone 15 is expected to be Apple's most expensive iPhone range to date, with Digitimes sources naming a $100 to $200 price hike for the 15 Pro and Pro Max.

Attendees should also expect to see what the tech giant has in store for the next generation of its Apple Watch, which has been rumored to include an A15 Bionic chip, along with a pink color option –– a potential choice color for the iPhone 15 as well, along with new blue and gray versions.

The latest versions of Apple's mobile, Mac, and watch operating systems are also likely to drop at the September event, which will be streamed on Apple's website at 1 pm ET.
