Dave & Buster's To Promote 'Five Nights At Freddy's' Film

This week Dave & Buster’s announced the chain has partnered with Universal Pictures this Halloween season for the debut of its horror film, “Five Night’s at Freddy’s,” which will premiere simultaneously on Peacock and in theaters Oct. 27.

The restaurant and arcade entertainment destination plans five weeks of promos for the movie, based on the successful horror video game franchise. In the game, a security guard takes a night job at the fictional Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, an abandoned family entertainment center. Mayhem ensues as the security guard realizes the center may not be so abandoned after all.

The chain will highlight various deals integrating the movie’s spooky animatronic characters Foxy, Bonnie, Chica, Cupcake and Freddy Fazbear from Oct. 16 through Nov. 19.

The first offer begins with Foxy Week, where customers receive a 50% discount on any flatbread pizza with any purchase.

Customers can follow each week’s promotions as they are each released through the Dave & Buster’s newsletter as well as on social via @daveandbusters.

In addition, the chain will release an exclusive series of “Five Nights at Freddie’s” trading cards per week, each featuring a different character from the film. They are available at the Dave & Buster's Winner's Circle, with no purchase necessary, while supplies last. Blumhouse's “Five Nights at Freddy's”-themed Power Cards will also be available while supplies last.

Patrons of Dave & Busters can also enter for a chance at an “exclusive” undisclosed prize, according to a release, for tagging themselves on social media while at restaurant with #FreddysatDB and @daveandbusters.
