Dentsu Promotes Andrade CEO EMEA Region

 

Dentsu has promoted Andre Andrade to CEO EMEA, succeeding Giulio Malegori who was recently named COO at parent company Dentsu Group. 

Andrade joined Dentsu (Aegis Media at the time) in 2004 as CEO of Portugal. In 2011, he moved to Madrid, managing Spain and Portugal, assuming the responsibility of IBSSA in 2013.

In early 2023, Andrade took the additional responsibility to lead the Client & Solutions hub for EMEA. He is now also a member of the Dentsu Group Executive Management team. 

Andrade started his career in marketing at P&G in 1992. In 1996, Andre moved to the Portuguese industrial and retail group Jerónimo Martins where he held roles in category management, sales and general management across various parts of the business. In 2002, he moved to Brazil as CEO of Cintra breweries, where he stayed until returning to Portugal and joining Dentsu.   

As head of Dentsu’s EMEA (Europe Middle East & Africa) region, Andrade will lead over 16,000 people across 45 markets.
