Havas Expands Footprint In Germany, Acquires Performance-Marketing Agency Eprofessional

Havas has acquired Hamburg-based digital performance-marketing agency Eprofessional, enlarging its portfolio of performance-marketing services. The agency will keep its independent branding, while joining Havas Media Network.

Founded in 1999, Eprofessional counts Vodafone, L'Oréal and Hapag Lloyd among its accounts.

Yannick Bolloré, chairman-global CEO, Havas, said the deal strengthens the Havas Media Network in Germany and expands "our digital performance capabilities worldwide."

Teams are expected to deliver a stronger pitch product with this alliance and be active in new business in 2024.

Tim Christiansen and Henner Uekermann will continue to run Eprofessional as managing directors. Uekermann remains a managing partner for the agency brand Arena Media in Germany, which operates alongside Havas Media.

In January, Havas Group took a majority stake in HRZN, one of Germany’s independent creative agencies for social media.

Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Mannheim with branches in Düsseldorf and Hamburg, HRZN specializes in online brand communication — from social-media consulting and analytics to content, brand experience and community management. HRZN is led by managing director Stephan Lachmann.
