Chuck E. Cheese Finally Feeds Adults, Too

r

Most restaurants have a separate kids’ menu -- but when you’re a kid-themed restaurant, a “grown-up menu” may be more in order. And that’s just what Chuck E. Cheese introduced this week: a selection of dishes targeted to what the the decades-old family pizza parlor and entertainment center calls a “mature palate.”

The new items include four specialty pizzas, all baked to order, brushed with garlic butter and sprinkled with Italian seasoning: Signature Meatball, Homestyle BBQ Chicken, Spicy Hawaiian and Spicy BBQ Piggy.

"As pioneers in the FEC [family entertainment center] industry, Chuck E. Cheese continues to evolve, ensuring that every visit is not just a trip down memory lane but an exploration of new tastes and experiences for our youngest guests and the millions of parents and adults who visit us each year," said David McKillips, president and CEO of CEC Entertainment, the parent Company of Chuck E. Cheese, in a release.

The chain has also added several wing flavors, including Buffalo BBQ, Spicy Korean BBQ, Louisiana Honey Hot, Lemon Pepper and Chili Lime.

And meatballs aren’t just for pizza; adults will now be able to order them in various sauces, including Sweet Chili, Spicy Korean BBQ or Buffalo BBQ sauce.

Grown-ups also now have their own desserts as well: three different cakes by the slice developed by celebrity chef Buddy Valastro. Guests can choose from Confetti, Vanilla Rainbow and Chocolate Fudge.
