New Locations

16 Handles, self-serve frozen yogurt and soft serve shop, will soon open six new locations throughout the Houston, Dallas and Austin, Texas areas in spring 2024.

Beef-a-Roo recently announced the opening of stores in five locations: Springfield, Missouri; Little Rock, Arkansas; two units in Harrison, Arkansas; Overland Park, Kansas; and Lebanon, Indiana.

Honeygrow, a Philadelphia-based fast-casual restaurant known for whole, made-to-order food, announced the opening of its latest location in Toms River, New Jersey.

Shake Shack earlier this month opened its first drive-thru location in North Las Vegas. This marks the chain’s fifth location in Nevada.

Slim Chickens, which operates more than 250 locations across the U.S. and U.K., announced the opening of its newest location in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. The chain has an additional 1,200 locations in development.

Smalls Sliders has recently signed a multiunit agreement for development in Austin, Texas. The new agreement is for five new units and marks brand’s entry into the Austin area with its Can model, adding to the 30 Cans currently in development across Texas.

New Menu Items

Biscuitville said it will test its newest menu items in the Virginia market, including the chain’s own version of Nashville Hot Chicken. New menu items include the Nashville Hot Chicken Biscuit, the Nashville Hot Chicken Biscuit with Fried Egg and Cheese and the Nashville Hot Chicken Fries. A new dessert is the Killer Cosmic Brownie, which is a blondie brownie with caramel and chocolate chips, topped with confetti sprinkles. 

Kolache Factory announced that three new croissant flavors will be rolling out in the chain throughout 2024. The first announced is The Texas Apple, which features pastry filled with apple pie filling, Gouda cheese, bacon, jalapenos and brown sugar, topped with pecans.
