MullenLowe West Names Wong President, Focuses On Digital, AI Solutions For Clients

MullenLowe West, an IPG agency, named a new president: Jenn Wong.

Most recently, she served as head of global brand marketing at SoundCloud, where she boosted the fan-to-artist streaming path.

She also brings a strong agency-brand background, with previous posts at Wieden+Kennedy, Beats by Dre, Gap Inc., Curaleaf and TBWA\Chiat\Day, where she oversaw the global Airbnb account.

At Gap Inc., Wong led marketing efforts for the greater Canada and Japan markets, while expanding into new markets in China and the Philippines.

Her hire is one of the big moves made by MullenLowe U.S. CEO Frank Cartagena, since his appointment in November.

Cartagena called Wong "a modern renaissance woman whose skill set blends creativity, technology and strategy, which she leverages to move and make culture." She replaces Javier Passerieu, who had been promoted to the role from managing director in September of last year.
