Time Warner COO Jeffrey Bewkes Tuesday told attendees at the National Cable and Telecommunications Association conference in Atlanta that the major networks should allow cable operators to make their
shows available on video-on-demand. Bewkes described the move as an ideal way to counter the growing influence of the Internet as an on-demand video server.
