ESPN and Soccer United Marketing, the commercial arm of U.S. pro league Major League Soccer, cut a deal to run MLS games on ABC/ESPN networks through 2014. Each year, ESPN2 will air 26 regular-season games and three playoff games. ABC will carry three games each year. A post-season package that includes the MLS Cup, the league championship match, runs on ABC. ESPN is responsible for production of all the games.
