CNN Ad Sales Ups Deal With Dominican Tourism Board

CNN Ad Sales and The Dominican Republic Tourism Board have renewed and expanded their advertising partnership for CNN networks in Latin America and the U.S., with the launch of a creative campaign featuring the tagline Inagotable... (Inexhaustible...). Targeting high-income, frequent travelers in Latin America, the Dominican Republic Tourism Board will sponsor a series of vignettes on CNN en Español, and have commercial presence through the network's prime-time news programming. In addition, the client will have sponsorship of Larry King Live on CNN International. The U.S ad campaign features the "Kick Start your Morning with Robin Meade" sweepstakes that launches in September during the CNN Headline News morning show "Robin & Co." The sweepstakes offers a trip for two--including airfare, hotel accommodations and more--in all 22 US markets where the promotion is running. Under the agreement, the affiliates who sign up to participate in the promotion will run Robin & Co. cross-channel spots co-sponsored by the Dominican Republic Tourism Board. The affiliates can either offer the trip through the sweepstakes to their viewers or use the trip as a client or sales incentive.
