Federated Moves Media Buying Account

Federated Department Stores' $200 million-plus media-buying and planning account is changing hands. Federated, the parent company of Macy's and Bloomingdale's, shifted the account from Publicis Groupe's Starcom to WPP Group's Mediaedge:cia. Starcom had the account less than a year. No formal review was held.
