CBS Radio has launched what it's calling its first "green" focused radio station: Washington, D.C. station 94.7 The Globe. The station will operate using renewable energy to power its 50,000 watt
signal. Plus, station cars will be replaced with hybrid models, and 94.7 The Globe will promote an eco-friendly lifestyle on and off-air.
