USA Today Sees 2% Rise in Newsstand Sales

USA Today turns 25 this year and has reason to celebrate. According to the latest Audit Bureau of Circulations report, its daily circulation was up 0.2% to 2,278,022 for the period ending March 31, 2007. The company says it's the top-selling newspaper in the U.S. with a daily circulation of 2.3 million. Over the last six months, single-copy newsstand sales are up nearly 2%. Over the last 12 months, third-party sales and copies purchased by hotel guests are up nearly 4%.
