  • May 11, 2007
Verizon Wireless has released a list of the top ten V CAST Music songs from the Bee Gees that customers have downloaded since the service launched in early 2006. They are: "I Started A Joke," "To Love Somebody," "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart," "Words," "Massachusetts," "I've Gotta Get A Message To You," "Holiday," "New York Mining Disaster," "Lonely Days," and "I Can't See Nobody."

Verizon is also launching Comic Creator by AMA, an application that lets customers create their own personalized comics and send them to other mobile phones and e-mail addresses in lieu of or in addition to a text message.

The Comic Creator program, developed by Advanced Mobile Applications' partner Longtail Studios, allows Verizon customers with select Get It Now-enabled phones to write their own story and choose from a variety of backgrounds, settings and characters, each with customizable expressions.

The company said monthly access costs $3.99.
