An online collaboration between 103 ad marketing professionals has turned a collective blog into a book. "The Age of Conversation," released Friday, was the creation of Drew McLellan, a popular
marketing blogger who heads McLellan Marketing Group, a Midwest ad agency, and Gavin Heaton, interactive director at marketing agency Creata, in Sidney, Australia. They asked other professionals to
join in an online conversation about how citizen marketers are changing the ad landscape and 103 bloggers--agency people, in-house, consultants and writers--from the U.S. and eight other countries
responded. Their essays comprise "Art," and the proceeds will benefit Variety, the international children's charity. Orders are being taken online at http://stores.lulu.com/ageofconversation.
