Starcom beefed up its video innovation unit, hiring former GSD&M Chicago honcho Chris Allen as vice president-video innovation director. Allen, who had been vice president overseeing national TV and
radio buying, as well as staffing and operations for the GSD&M outpost, will be based in Starcom's Chicago headquarters, and will report to Senior Vice President/Video Innovation Director Tracey
Scheppach.
