Golden Globe winner and Emmy nominee Don Johnson will star in and co-executive produce Word of Honor, a courtroom thriller based on Nelson DeMille's novel. Michael Jaffe and Howard Braunstein will executive produce for Jaffe/Braunstein Films Ltd. In Word of Honor, Johnson's character, Ben Tyson, is a corporate executive and family man who finds his world threatened when he is accused of murder that occurred 30 years earlier while he was a lieutenant in Vietnam. "Word of Honor is a perfect fit for TNT's drama positioning. It has a first-rate script, based on a best-seller from an author who readers love for his smart writing and unique style. We are thrilled to have Don Johnson top lining the cast," said Michael Wright, SVP of movies and miniseries at TNT.
