High-end mattress retail chain Houston-based Mattress Firm is launching a national promotion that seeks the person who gets the worst sleep.

The effort, with sleep expert Dr. Michael Breus, involves a contest in which the person with the most compelling story gets a sleep package valued at $2,500 -- a new mattress and a private sleep consultation with Dr. Breus.

The "Sleepless In America" contest at SleeplessInAmericaContest.com asks consumers to upload a short video or submit an essay.--Karl Greenberg
