Mexican Billionaire Buys Big Chunk Of 'NYTimes'

The world's second-richest person, Carlos Slim, announced in an SEC filing that he and a family trust owned 6.4% of The New York Times, making him the third-largest investor not part of controlling Ochs-Sulzberger family, noted the New York Post. The O-S clan owns a 19% equity stake.
