Out Of The Closet Thrift Store To Change Name

The Alaska store frequented by Gov. Sarah Palin has agreed to rename itself by year's end in deference to the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, whose own chain by the same name raises funds in California and Florida to battle the disease.

The Alaska consignment store, and the trademark infringement issue, came to national attention following revelations that the Republican National Committee spent over $150,000 on a campaign wardrobe and other clothing for Palin and her family.--Nina M. Lentini
