HBO Shop Promotion Offers Hugs In N.Y.

The HBO Shop is doing a street marketing program, "Peace, Love, HBO," to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the peace sign.
Brand ambassadors on the streets of midtown are giving free hugs and handing out coupons for peace-themed t-shirts sold at the HBO store with themes for HBO TV shows: Peace, Love, Vampires (for "True Blood"); Peace, Love, Cosmos (for "Sex and the City"); Peace, Love, Big Love (for "Big Love"); and Peace, Love, Folk (for "Flight of the Conchords").
The promotion will continue through Dec. 24.--Karl Greenberg
