Sadie Daryan is currently the Global Head of Channel Incubation for eBay’s Global Growth organization. She is an integrated marketing and media strategy expert, and has been with eBay for over 6 years. With a strong understanding of where and how to reach the millennial and Gen Z audience, Sadie is responsible for eBay’s media and content strategies on 7 social different platforms, including Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, & Snapchat. Additionally, Sadie is focused on exploring new channels and innovative technologies that drive customer consideration, engagement and transactions. She encourages her team and partners to constantly push boundaries, try new innovative tactics and reinforce eBay’s position as an innovative leader in the social space. Prior to joining eBay’s Global Growth team, Sadie was leading eBay Canada’s marketing team as their Head of Relationship Marketing & Social Media.

Some industry watchers think influencer marketing needs a dramatic rethink, away from social media stars that deliver massive reach towards smaller micro-influencers, claiming the Web’s biggest stars are now just as inaccessible to regular people as Hollywood celebrities, making them (ironically) less influential.
