On Saturday, Arizona's oldest newspaper, the nearly 140-year-old
Tucson Citizen will print its final edition. The paper is owned by the Gannett Co. More than 60 newsroom employees will lose
their jobs, reports AP. In February, E.W. Scripps closed the 150-year-old
Rocky Mountain News, one of two daily newspapers in Denver, in February. Hearst Corp. has said it will close or sell
the
San Francisco Chronicle if it can't cut expenses.
