In an effort to transform the virtual tour from a unique Web attraction into a revenue-generating advertising vehicle, Hotresponse has debuted newest IPIX-based eMarketing solution with the online launch of the House Beautiful Hollywood Bungalow. Developed in conjunction with a special advertising section in the November 2000 issue of House Beautiful, Hotresponse's virtual tour is an online advertiser directory or buyers guide that allows users to view each room of the a LA Bungalow designed by members of the Art Directors Guild and receive detailed information from advertisers by clicking on specific items within each room. The Bungalow is decorated and furnished with materials from participating House Beautiful advertisers and offers advertisers a forum to showcase their products in a realistic environment The user can stand in the middle of each room of the Bungalow and take a 360 degree tour, creating the perception of actually being in the room, and by clicking on specific products, or "hot spots," in each room of the Bungalow will immediately see the advertiser's HotPage, which is a Hotresponse-created microsite with a product graphic, product description and multiple interactive options.
