SRDS and the Outdoor Advertising Association of America (oaaa) have announced the launch of the online version of the SRDS Out-of-Home Advertising Source.

According to the announcement, both online and print versions of the directory are now available to SRDS subscribers, packed with data on over 2,500 alternative advertising vehicles.

According to Valerie R. Heys, Publisher of the new directory, the fact that SRDS now has both online and print versions, enables media companies to promote themselves to media planners and buyers at the point of purchase. The listings provide information on key contact information, advertising rates, closing dates, and other specs. Subscribers can target their search online by searching by markets served, or media type.

The online version further streamlines media planning and buying by providing users the ability to create contact reports, copy and paste logos into presentations, and access websites and media kits through direct links.

Because of their affiliation with SRDS, the oaaa has endorsed the directory as an official industry source for out-of-home advertising information. Diane Cimine, Executive VP of oaaa, said the endorsement comes because they feel that SRDS is the most comprehensive, convenient, and reliable, source covering the industry.

SRDS' strategy to offer services that integrate its data into both online, and print, formats continues with this launch.

SRDS has already launched online versions of the Business Publication Advertising Source, Consumer Magazine Advertising Source, Direct Marketing List Source, Radio Advertising Source, Interactive Advertising Source and Newspaper Advertising Source.
