According to a study released by Jupiter Research, the Latin American Internet advertising market is set to become the fastest growing such market in the world. By 2005, it is expected that Latin
American companies will be spending an estimated 1.2 billion dollars per year on online advertising. That after spending only 127 million dollars on it last year. The report also predicted
expenditures on Internet advertising by firms in the region during the next five years will overtake spending on advertising in cinemas and live entertainment events.
