Building on the popular interest in the field of investigative forensics, Court TV has ordered 26 additional episodes of "Forensic Files," the network's fact-based original series on the world of
forensic science. "Forensic Files" offers a real-life look at the role forensic science plays in solving mysterious crimes and is the documentary counterpart to network dramas such as the current CBS
hit "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." "Forensic Files," which currently airs Monday - Thursday at 7:30 p.m., will begin airing five days a week in that same time period beginning February 12th. Court
TV also has plans to premiere two-hour-long documentary specials on forensic science in the 4th quarter.
In the reporting period year-to-date, "Forensic Files" has averaged a .7 rating (363,000
homes). This marks a 169 % increase in homes delivered to the time period compared to the corresponding dates last year. Additionally, "Forensic Files" is improving deliveries of Adults 18-49 (+324%)
and Adults 25-54 (+233%), compared to last year's time period.
