For the second consecutive year, CIO and Network World were honored at the 2000 Folio: Show with awards in editorial and design excellence. Folio's Editorial Excellence awards honor overall quality
and reward achievement in accomplishing a magazine's editorial mission. The awards comprised 23 consumer categories, 22 trade categories and 2 non-print categories. Publications were rated on how well
they fulfilled their mission statements as well as the quality of their content. In the computing category, IDG's publication Network World was awarded top honors and PC World's online site was a
finalist.
