Baltimore-based Advertising.com yesterday announced that it is expanding into Europe, opening an office in London. With the launch of its operation in Europe, Advertising.com will offer agencies a
range of Internet-enabled advertising mediums including the web, opt-in email and wireless. These advertising networks will be powered by Advertising.com's automated optimization technology,
AdLearn(SM), which automatically tracks and learns where online campaigns work best and directs advertisements in real- time toward the placements where they are most likely to work.
Advertising.com has, in preparation for its move into Europe, invested significantly in the development of its wireless technology platform. The company recently launched the Wireless Advertising
Marketing and Measurement Initiative (WAMMI), to identify, test and measure the most effective advertising methods in the emerging mobile commerce arena - Messaging, Wireless Internet, Location-based
Advertising, Interactive, Retail Integration and Time-Sensitive Advertising.

Joining McLaren is Daphne Marinopoulos, currently serving as managing director for Europe. Four other founding members of the U.S. team have also joined the London office to
ensure the successful launch of the European company. The team is joined by Nicholas Green, previously with Teletext and the Daily Telegraph, who joins Advertising.com as sales director.
