CarsDirect.com has announced an agreement with Sprint PCS that will provide Sprint PCS customers with greater access to the latest car-buying information via Sprint PCS "My Wireless Web." As the wireless Internet continues to build momentum, this alliance marks CarsDirect.com's first venture into the wireless market. Sprint PCS says their customers can now customize their Sprint PCS Wireless Web browser by logging onto the "My Wireless Web" page located at www.sprintpcs.com and selecting CarsDirect.com as one of their personal sites. Within seconds, they will be able to access CarsDirect.com's wireless automotive pricing and other current automotive research applications via any one of the Internet-ready Sprint PCS Phones. The newly added site will enable car shoppers to research, price, select and order a new vehicle while "on the go."
