Earlier this month EMAP's Teen Magazine became the first magazine in the world to deploy Ultigo's UltiMedia print to web program that - without scanners or digital cameras - enables readers to log on
to teenmag.com to learn more about or find out how to buy 16 products linked off four editorial pages from the November issue of the magazine.
In the upcoming December issue (on sale November 7th)
Teen is adding advertising pages to the UltiMedia program. Products featured in print ads from M2card, Disney, Polaroid, and Roxy Quiksilver Watches will be electronically enlivened at teenmag.com
(the pages will appear online exactly as they appear in print) so that readers can learn more about them or buy them online or offline. In an aggressive use of the technology, Roxy Quiksilver Watches
will link 20 watches off its brand logo as it appears online - products not even on the printed ad page.
