DoubleClick Serves Trillionth Ad

DoubleClick Inc., a digital marketing solutions company, today announced DoubleClick's DART (Dynamic Advertising Reporting Targeting) technology reached a milestone, serving its one trillionth ad. Currently, DART serves an average of 2 billion ads daily, which outpaces the daily average of 1.75 billion shares that Nasdaq's trading network processes.

DoubleClick is also the first company in its industry to successfully undergo a SAS 70 examination, administered by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, which provides its clients with additional assurance concerning the operating effectiveness of the controls relating to its DART system. In addition to serving ads across Web sites, DART serves ads to wireless devices, iTV, kiosks, and ATM machines. DART is also the foundation for DoubleClick's email marketing technology, DARTmail.
