Since the premiere on NBC, the game show "Weakest Link" has garnered enthusiastic attention from critics and viewers alike. Through four telecasts on NBC, "Weakest Link" has averaged a 6.7 rating and
18 share in adults 18-49 and has been the number-one show on television in this key demographic during each of its first three nights on the air.
To capitalize on the show popularity, PAX TV will
be re-broadcast the hit primetime quiz show every Friday at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT beginning Friday, June 1. "Viewers have obviously taken to this unique, fast-paced and witty program," commented Sagansky.
"We're thrilled to bring our audience an opportunity to catch the action again."
"Weakest Link," hosted by Anne Robinson, is a highly competitive game in which a group of eight contestants are
quizzed on general knowledge. However, the competition takes on a sharp turn at the end of each round when one of the contestants is deemed "the weakest link" and voted off the show.
