Every show nominated in the
sitcom category exceeded the average time-shifting mode, with "Weeds" being time-shifted 90% of the time and "How I Met Your Mother" lowest at 69%.
Since you might assume good shows are
more TiVo-worthy than their lesser rivals, how about Emmy-nominated shows that are time-shifted less than the average? Among the 28 shows nominated in five best-program and best-series categories,
three programs are times-hifted less than the average and presumably see less ad-skipping. They are: "American Dad," "Dancing With the Stars" and "Late Show With David Letterman."
