AOL Names Board

The soon-to-be-independent AOL on Monday named its new board of directors, including a who's who from the worlds of Hollywood, Silicon Valley, Washington, D.C., and Wall Street. When the split from Time Warner finalizes, the eight directors expected to join chairman and CEO Tim Armstrong on the board include former Amazon CIO Richard Dalzell; Karen Dykstra COO/CFO of investment firm Plainfield Direct; United Football League co-founder William Hambrecht; former PBS head Patricia Mitchell; former FCC chairman Michael Powell; former CBS CFO Fredric Reynolds, former P&G global marketing officer James Stengel; and Jim Wiatt, former chairman and CEO of the William Morris Agency. --Gavin O'Malley
