Sequel To 'Dallas' Planned

"Dallas," which premiered in 1978, was one of TV's most successful prime-time soaps, running for 13 seasons. Now Warner Bros. TV sees gold in a potential remake, penned by Cynthia Cidre, who created the Latino serial "Cane."

One idea was to have the series revolve around J.R. and son John Ross and Bobby's adopted son Christopher, but no word on the future of the Ewing clan or if Larry Hagman (J.R.), Patrick Ewing (Bobby) and Linda Gray (Sue Ellen) will return in their original roles.
