Digitas Cuts 130

  • June 20, 2001
As AdAge reported yesterday, Digitas has laid off 130 employees. After these cuts, Digitas now employs 1,600 people. The latest cuts coincide with the company revising its second quarter projections, saying they would be below prior expectations because of budget cuts. The company expects to report revenue of $ 60 million to $63 million, as opposed to $70 million in the second quarter of 2000.
