'FT' Names Tett U.S. Managing Editor

The Financial Times has appointed Gillian Tett as U.S. managing editor overseeing print and online editions. Tett is being promoted from assistant editor, replacing Chrystia Freeland who is going to Thomson Reuters. Her appointment is part of an edit shake-up which last week brought news of managing editor Dan Bogler's departure to become president and editor of Medley Global Advisors, a company bought by the FT Group earlier in the year.
