Despite the Economic Downturn

Direct response marketing company Advertising.com yesterday announced "significant and steady" revenue growth for the first two quarters of 2001. According to the release, revenues increased 35.7% from Q1 to Q2 of 2001, with consistent 12% month-over-month revenue growth. Company officials say the number of clients has increased 83% since January 2001, while the average value of each client has increased 56%. Currently, nearly 80% of the company's clients represent Fortune 1000 companies and other major traditional advertisers.
