eUniverse, an interactive entertainment network, has acquired
Fitness Heaven, a company that provides complete diet and fitness support services online.
eUniverse plans to begin promoting a Fitness Heaven paid subscription program across its network within the next 45 days. The subscription price points will be announced at the time of launch. Fitness
Heaven, established in June 2000, features a comprehensive online dieting service and virtual trainer. The subscription service will include a diet service that provides more than six programs to
choose from based on individual preferences and goals, and translates each into a daily meal plan and even a shopping list. The virtual trainer takes diets to the next level by integrating targeted
exercises to tone and enhance overall fitness or focus on individual body parts. --
