Targeting the Affluent Decision-Makers

Jupiter Media Metrix Research has teamed with e-Rewards to help with online research that targets difficult-to-reach affluent consumers and business decision-makers. Jupiter hopes to tap into the minds of nearly 700,000 affluent North American residents – a powerful research panel. e-Rewards is an invitation-only email rewards program that pays members for reading and reacting to email. More than one-third of this affluent member base also participates in the business-to-business aspects of the e-Rewards channel, identifying themselves as decision-makers at work. Company officials say that through the e-Rewards channel, advertisers and researchers have discovered a path to reach these key executives and find out what they are thinking -- before putting a new product on the market, altering a branding campaign, or spending money on a new advertising idea.
