As reported in AdAge, 24 U.S. Hispanic advertising agencies received a total of 55 national honors at AdAge's third annual Hispanic Creative Advertising Awards ceremony Saturday night. Three agencies
-- Dieste & Partners of Dallas, Bromley Communications of San Antonio, and del Rivero Messianu DDB of Coral Gables, Fla., -- had a great night, taking home a combined 18 awards. Dieste took three
golds; Bromley took two golds; and del Rivero took two golds. Four ads that had been selected by the judges for two additional gold and two silver awards were disqualified as "ghost" ads shortly
before the awards show began. Created by del Rivero as part of a magazine campaign for Johnson & Johnson's Adult Extra Strength Tylenol, the ads never ran.
