Connection Software, the London-based text messaging service provider, will launch a new, advertiser-originated, two-way text messaging service on the 15th October. While customer-originated two-way
text messaging has been around for some time, few providers have been able to deliver a bulk, two-way text message service that is advertiser-originated. Connection Software now offers this
capability. The reply message is sent in exactly the same way as any other text message, by using the message-reply facility on the phone. The hope is to encourage more replies. Advertisers can then
identify the individual respondents by their mobile phone numbers.
