CNET Networks said it will provide technology product reviews and shopping functions for NYTimes.com and Boston.com, starting in the fourth quarter. The new content will appear in a redesign of the
NYTimes.com technology section. "Technology is one of our most popular content areas," said Catherine Levene, vice president of product, business development and strategy for New York Times Digital.
She said the CNET content would extend the Times' reach into the personal technology marketplace. The co-branded section will feature product reviews, a staple of CNET's coverage, and shopping
services.
