Google on Tuesday acquired Picasa, a digital photo management company. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. The Pasadena, Calif.-based Picasa has previously announced a partnership with Google's
Blogger service in May, aiming to improve the quality of Blogger's photo-publishing features. Last year, Google entered the blogging arena after acquiring Pyra Labs, which created the Blogger service.
While Google hopes Picasa will further improve Blogger, the two companies have yet to announce product integration plans.
