Vegas Turns To Taxis

Las Vegas-based Clear Channel Taxi Media is aiming to boost Las Vegas tourism by allocating more than $1 million to promote the city in seven markets around the country. In November and December, the taglines "Freedom to Get Away" and "Las Vegas: Still the Best Way to Get Away" will be displayed on the rooftops of 1,550 taxicabs in Atlanta, Boston, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia, Phoenix and San Francisco.
