TV Guide and Gemstar-TV Guide International have announced the addition of five more major national advertisers to its roster - Volkswagen of America, Olympus America, Cuisinart, Best Buy Co., and
Maybelline/Garnier - all of whom will utilize the interactive platforms and the TV Guide print and media vehicles to reach consumers during the 2001 holiday period and into the first quarter of 2002.
Gemstar-TV Guide's IPG services include the TV Guide Interactive system -- the on-screen digital cable guide provided to multi-channel video programming distributors, and the GUIDE Plus+ system -- the
on-screen guide built directly into television sets and VCRs. Gemstar-TV Guide's IPGs currently reach more than 13 million U.S. television households. --
