Click2Net Follows Users with Ads

  • December 3, 2001
In a move reminiscent of NYTimes.com’s newly launched “surround session” ad format, Click2Net Inc., an interactive marketing company unveiled a key enhancement to its recently released TrueIMPACT Ad Management Technology. The new IMPACT Sessions feature allows an advertiser to target site users exclusively for the duration of their website visit. With IMPACT Sessions, an advertiser essentially buys a publisher's audience and the time it spends interacting with the website. Advertiser's can specify how many unique users they would like to reach and with how many creative elements. Advertisers can also leverage the opportunity to sequence their ads so that viewers can be told a continuing story as they browse from page to page. Targeting filters such as geography, time of day/day of week or operating system can also be employed to bolster campaign performance. TrueIMPACT then provides full detailed reporting of completed sessions as well as impressions, clicks and actions related to the campaign. -- Adam Bernard
